The " Fifteenth International Seminar of Automotive NVH Control Technology " has been successfully held in Suzhou on 10-11 May 2018. It was sponsored by China Automotive Engineering Society and China Automotive Technology Research Center Co., Ltd. and organized by China Automotive Engineering Institute's vibration and noise division, the Automotive Engineering Research Institute of China Automotive Technology Research Center Co., Ltd. and the Suzhou Automotive Research Institute of Tsinghua University. With the theme of "Innovation, leading the Future of NVH", the conference focuses on the key technical directions, such as "vehicle NVH control technology", "power transmission system NVH control technology", "wind noise and abnormal noise control technology" and so on, and emphasize on exploring the innovative technology, experience and academic achievements in the field of automobile NVH at domestic and overseas. Publicity and implementation of new policies and regulations in the field of automotive NVH in order to speeding up the further development of China's automobile industry towards greening, intellectualization and internationalization.
At the opening ceremony, Wu Zhixin, deputy general manager of China Automotive Technology Research Center, association of automotive engineering society and chairman of vibration and noise, introduced the "International Seminar of automobile NVH control technology" is an important platform for the exchange of industry engineers at domestic and overseas. At present, China's auto industry is in a period of rapid development. The automobile production and marketing have exceeded 28 million in 2017 and ranked the number one in the world for many years. In the development of the automobile industry, the performance of automobile NVH (noise, vibration, acoustic vibration roughness), which is closely related to vehicle driving and ride comfort, has also become an important content concerned by the major automobile manufacturing enterprises and parts enterprises. Therefore, it is of great significance to carry out the research on automobile NVH technology in order to continuously improve the international competitiveness of China's independent brand cars in terms of comfort and sound quality. Then Gao Jidong, the director of the Automotive Engineering Research Institute of China Automotive Technology Research Center and the deputy director of the division of vibration and noise, made a speech of thanks for the arrival of the guests on behalf of the organizers of the conference.

The meeting is carried out in the form of the conference report and the session discussion. It invites 53 experts and professors who come from the German acoustic vibration technology center, the Virginia Tech, the French SAE and other internationally renowned institutions. They have made special reports around the domestic and foreign automobile "vehicle NVH control technology", "power transmission system NVH control technology", "wind noise and abnormal noise control technology" and so on.
Since its founding in 2004, the " International Seminar of Automotive NVH Control Technology" has so far held 15 sessions. This year, the conference has broken through the traditional way of hosting the conference and introduced the hearing recognition system for the first time in the meeting field, realizing the synchronization of the words and sounds in the field report; adding the road performance activity outside the meeting: the "new car NVH static evaluation”and "NVH test driving dynamic evaluation" activity to facilitate the participants to better experience the NVH performance of different brands of the vehicle, received the unanimous praise from the participants. Two days and six meetings attracted a total of 82 domestic and foreign vehicle enterprises, 31 parts and components enterprises, 28 colleges and universities and 523 R & D institutions, 200 institutions, 523 guests. For the first time, the participants of this session broke through 500 people, and received great support from renowned professors and scholars in the industry. Now it has become an important platform for the exchange of profession engineers.
